It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Simon of Carrier Mills, Illinois, born in Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin and Lydia Josephine Dennis (Dixon); her husband Cecil Eugene Simon; and her siblings, Ray Dennis, John Dennis, Don Dennis, Dwain Dennis, Garnett Hupp and Lucille Braden.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Simon of Bloomington, Indiana, Darrell Simon (Libby) of Harrisburg, Cathy McKinney (Mike) of Spencer, Indiana and Gary Simon of Bedford, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Nathan Simon (Krutika) of Bloomington, Indiana, Monica Simon of Bloomington, Indiana, Craig Simon (Linda) of Houston, Mississippi, Alicia Simon of French Lick, Indiana, Kara Simon of Arlington, Virginia, Micayla McKinney of Spencer, Indiana, Matt Hobbs (Brooke) of Bloomington, Indiana, Cody Hobbs of Bloomington, Indiana and Dustin Hobbs of Bloomington, Indiana. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
