We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Rebecca Allen of Carpentersville, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sr. Allen and Virginia R. Allen; and her former husband Richard L. "Dick" Wendt. She is survived by: her children, Carrie Rhoades (Scott), Leigh Ann Potenza (Christopher) and Matthew Wendt; her grandchildren, Ashley Rogers (Kenny), Quinn Childs (Samantha), Cole Childs (Bria), Alexis James, Evan Wendt, Kyndall Rhoades, Avery Rhoades and Reilly Wendt; her great grandchildren, Alivia Childs, Lennon Rogers, Ayla Childs and Jayce Childs; and her brother Paul Allen Jr. (Carol). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, West Dundee.
