She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Sue Bruns and Edward Dean Rowe (Jill); her grandchildren, Melissa Bonine (David), Rik Bruns (Jessica), Heather Goldstein (Rory), Daniel Rowe (Iede), Jeremy Chapin (Jackie), Jennifer Wenc (Rob) and Jacqlyn Chapin; her great grandchildren, Mia, Alastair, Oliver, Penelope, Graham, Cecelia, Owen and Everett; and her siblings, Frank, Alvis, Stacie, Helen Barton and Ruby Turpin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Advocate Sherman Hospital's Cancer Center.
