He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Darcie Elliott, Dawn McCarroll, Jacia Pearson and Kelden Witt; his father John Dorgan; and his siblings, Darlene Schnur (Bob) and Bruce Brabec (Marlene Robinson). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
