He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose and Trinidad; and his siblings, Don and Josephine. He is survived by: his wife Imelda Mercado; his children, Joseph Mercado (Elizabeth) and Jessica Mercado; his granddaughter Sayla Jun; and his sisters, Shirley and Vicky.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142). A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association.
