It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Skillman of Carpentersville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skillman and Charlotte C. Brady; and his sister Rosemary Dooley Skillman. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Sellnow (Randy), Maureen Harrison (late Michael), John (Susan) and Robert Skillman (Marybeth); his great grandchildren, Riley, Bailey, Sean, Levi, Evan, Colin and Arija; his sisters, Sally Murphy, Penny Miller (Joe) and Bonnie Wyman (Bill Roesler); and his friend Peggy Basura. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
