He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Barnes and Ethel Barnes; and his wife Shirley A. Barnes. He is survived by: his sons, James A. (Juanita) and Russell A. Barnes (Jan); his great grandchildren, Jill Woodward (Tyler), Jamie Spears (Ryan), Scott Barnes, Steve (Beth) and Russell (Jeanie); and his siblings, Larry Barnes (Linda), George, Bud and Linda Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
