He is survived by: his children, Lisa Smyth (Thomas), Carol Shirley (David) and Mark Zottmann; his grandchildren, Michael, Brittany (Robert), Mathew (Alexis), Heather, Eric (Kristina), Alex, Jessica (Luke) and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Livi, Kai and Olivia; and his sister Rita Kneisel.
