He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Everhart and Sadie O. Everhart; and his daughter Bobette Boal. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his sons, Roger (Carol) and Doug Everhart (Tracy); and his brothers, Carl (Adrienne) and Samuel Everhart (Carlene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
