It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene M. Kaspik of Carpentersville, Illinois, born in Calumet City, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Arlene may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kaspik and Martha Smolinski Kapsik; and her brother Edward Kaspik. She is survived by: her wife Kate Reed; and her nieces, Julie Burke and Ellen Gentzel. She is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (337 Ridge Rd, Barrington, IL 60010). A rosary was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
