She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Nilsen and Laila Nilsen (Stromdahl); her son Thomas E. Harrington Jr.; her siblings, Richard Nilsen and Laura Teegen; and her brother-in-law Barney Teegen.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Johanna Nilsen, Amanda Marie Nilsen, Joseph Luis Nilsen Sr. and Naomi Laila Thompson; her grandchildren, Joseph Luis Nilsen Jr., Alyanna Marie Martinez and Alexis J. Martinez; her siblings, Jan Nilsen, Arnold Nilsen, Linda Nilsen, Larry Nilsen, Paul Nilsen and Valerie Nilsen (Jason); and her sister-in-law Norma Nilsen. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
