He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Gallagher; his parents, Joseph and Marie; and his siblings, Jerry, Ginny, Patricia and Margie.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy DeCicco (Frank), Karen Osika (Mike), Joseph (Lisa), Patrick, Theresa Kuhlmann (Kevin) and Michael (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Frank, Diana, Jennifer, Nicholas, Drew, Jay, Eric, Joey, Zac, Patrick, Lana, Ryan, Nicole, Travis, Rachel, Leah and Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Ernesto, Antonio, Isabel, Gabriella, Carmella and Caden.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ the King Catholic Parish in Lombard, IL or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
