He is survived by: his children, Patrick Bayer (Amy), Tim Bayer, John Bayer (Kimberly), Mark Bayer and Eileen Foecking (Brian); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, Noah, Ryder, Evan, Colin, Rhys and Siena. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Mercy Home For Boys & Girls.
