Martin Edwin Lasak Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 70, Martin Edwin Lasak of Carol Stream, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Martin Edwin's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Liz Lasak; his children, Lauren Temme (Karsten) and Jessica Bernardi (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Bennett, Emerson Temme, Sophie and Luca Bernardi.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Isidore Parish (427 W Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to The Morton Arboretum to commemorate his love for nature and remember afternoons spent hiking among the trees with those he loved.
