Smith of Carol Stream, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her close friend Robert Daleen; and her parents, Vince Mix and Dorothy Schukies (Frank). She is survived by: her sons, Jarrett Smith and Steven Smith; her brothers, Michael Schukies (Danise) and Robert Schukies (Christine); and her niece Michaela Schukies.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187-5330). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (310 S Wheaton Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187).
