She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Boike and Marion Boike; and her sister Arlene Hawley. She is survived by: her husband Larry Bauer of Wheaton, IL; her children, Wendy Piersall (David) of Woodstock, IL and Todd Bauer (Leslie) of Wheaton, IL; her grandchildren, Cassidy, Ethan, Lianna, Jacob and Avery; her niece Amy; and her nephews, Martin, Eric, Craig and Curtis.
But then Alzheimer's Disease found Marlene.
