It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucien P. DeCata of Carol Stream, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DeCata and Michael DeCata; and his brother Lawrence DeCata (Pauline). He is survived by: his brothers, Emil DeCata (late Gloria) and James DeCata (Karen); his nieces and nephews, Gary DeCata (Mary) and Lynn Krysa (Bob); and his friends, Dawn, Robert and Gary Cortese.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W Washington St, West Chicago, IL 60185). A prayer was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
