John C. Swanson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Swanson of Carol Stream, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John C. Swanson to pay them a last tribute.
As John C. departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John C. may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John C. leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred R. Swanson and Elsie M. Swanson; his wives, E. Eleanor Swanson (McKnight) and Zondra Swanson (Lindblade); and his son Daniel.
He is survived by: his brother Armour Swanson (Beverly) of Northbrook, IL; his children, Robert Swanson (Laurie) of Oak Park, IL and Kathryn Soneson (Stephen) of Winfield, IL; and his daughter-in-law Angelica Juarez of Swanson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church (29W260 Batavia Rd, Warrenville, IL 60555). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
