He was predeceased by: his parents, Willam E. Leer and Mabel Bream Leer. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Hoidas (Mike) of Wheaton, IL, Heidi Hershey (Keith) of Northridge, CA, Wendy Rhanor (Danny) of Swartz Creek, MI and Holly Currence (Rikk) of Wheaton, IL; his grandchildren, Ross Van Woerkom (Jen), Nate Hoidas (Amy), Mandie Hoidas, Justin Hershey (Marc), Josh Hershey, Danielle Bulbuk (Jason), Jesse Rhanor (Whitney), Levi Rhanor (Samantha) and Kyle Currence; and his sister Miriam Watkins. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
