He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Annette; his children, DeAnna Krejci (Mike) and Jason Smith (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ella, Avery and Jake; his sister Sherry Ragone; and his nephews, Eric and Kevin Bull. He was also cherished by his friends and family as someone they could always count on, and by his children as a caring father who taught them the value of family and selflessness, most evidently through two things: Operation Christmas, a charity for children in need which he and Annette started in 1972; and the love and devotion he showed to his wife.
Inseparable from her for almost 50 years, Gary would be in love with his best friend, even through Alzheimer's, right to the end.
