Forrest Gene Zander Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Forrest Gene Zander of Carol Stream, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eno Zander and Dorothy Zander. He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his stepdaughter Jeanine Reid; his children, Anita Murphy (Tim), Arlene Johnson (Randy) and Alby Zander (Lorri); his grandchildren, Nora Murphy, Charles Johnson (Karin), Zach Zander (Kass), Matti Zander McGovern (JDrew), Colbey Johnson (Alivia), Leeya Zander, Samson Zander and Benji Zander; and his great grandchild Ezra Zander McGovern.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the College Church (332 E Seminary Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
