He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray J. Eychaner and Evelyn; his daughters, Ann Gemmel (Tim) and Mary Mueller (Greg); his grandchildren, Tim Gemmel (Sarah), Matt Gemmel (Becky), Will Gemmel (Meghan), Abigail Gemmel, John Gemmel (Liza), Joshua Mueller and Daniel Mueller; his great grandchildren, Judah, Carson, Isaac, Ezekiel, Andrew, Hannah, Ruth, Naomi and David; his sister-in-law Rita Armstrong Cearlock; his wife Phyllis Ann; and his sister Lavona Dummer (late Lowell). He was also cherished by many nieces & nephews.
Last year, after missing travel terribly during covid restrictions, Don enjoyed a 93rd birthday trip to Sanibel Island with Ann and Tim and even took an Alaskan cruise during summer.
