“My deepest condolences to Debes' family. Debes was a wonderful person, always calm, always inciteful, always thorough, always thoughtful. I worked with him for many years at Rockwell. Nothing seemed to fluster him. He would tackle some of the most difficult issues and just power through until he found a solution. He was an even better man. He was considerate of his fellow people, interested in your life outside of work and just an interesting and educated conversationalist on many topics. RIP”

“I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Debes well -- we both worked at Rockwell, but I did not work with him. I got to know him better through the group breakfasts he organized, though I rarely had the honor of sitting near him. What I did know of him, I liked very much, and I am sad that I will have no more opportunities to know him better.”
