It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodrow Jelks (Carmi, Illinois), who passed away on March 20, 2018, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marion and Etta Jelks (Speights); his daughter-in-law Maribeth Jelks; and also Jeff Glixman. He is survived by: his children, David Jelks, Linda Richmond (Mike) and Mary Winter (Jerry); his grandchildren, Michelle Jacobson, Andrea Jelks, Chris Jelks, Diana Glixman and Donna Joslyn; his great grandchildren, Miles Glixman, Lillie Glixman and Georgia Jacobson; and his friend Larry Huff (Brenda). He is also survived by his parents, six brothers, three sisters, his beloved wife.
Visitation for Woodrow Jelks will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with a graveside service to immediately follow at White County Memorial Garden in Carmi. favorite_border Donations Pledges.
