William Higginson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2021, at the age of 87, William Higginson of Carmi, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Halsey Higginson and Myrtle Higginson (Hon); his wife Myrna "Sue" Mathis; and his siblings, Wayne Higginson, Mary Hargrave and Helen Kuykendall.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Higginson (Misty) of Edmond, OK., David Higginson (Missy) of Carmi, IL., Jeff Hamblin of Ft. Branch, IN. and Myra Hillyard (Mark) of Carmi, IL.; his grandchildren, Jake, Samantha, Lauren Higginson, Paige Davis (Jeff), Andi Anderson, Dan Anderson, Katie Rynkiewich (Kyle) and Kristie Hoskins (Clay); his great grandchildren, Reece, Reed Rynkiewich, Atlee Hoskins, GiGi and Louie Davis; and his siblings, Gene Higginson of Farmington, NM., Anna Ruth Wiggins of Houma, LA. and Reta Blair of Carmi, IL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bill's memory to the Carmi Country Club at P.O. Box 118, Carmi, IL. 62821, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
