William Eugene Kays Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2022, at the age of 89, William Eugene Kays of Carmi, Illinois, born in Fairfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert and Marie Elizabeth Kays (Harl); his wife Donna L. Carney; and his brother Charles E. "Whitey" Kays. He is survived by: his sons, William Keith Kays (Michelle) of Zwolle, LA. and Robert Kevin Kays (Chanda) of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Justin Ray Kays (Madison Cox), William Clayton Kays (Colie), Kathryn Marie Kays, Ashley Marie Trahan (Alcee), Brittany Lynn Gambill (James) and Christopher Kolt Kays (Alexis Hubbard); and his siblings, Dana Ray Kays (Tonya Reasoner) of Carmi, IL. and Diana Campbell (Bob) of Crossville, IL.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bill's memory to the White County Senior Citizen's Center, and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
