He was predeceased by: his parents, John Avon Brubaker and Minnie Marie Brubaker (Schuldt); his sisters, Beverly Casey and Deone Langston; and his granddaughter Veronica Nicole Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brubaker of Carmi; his daughters, Peggy Anderson (John) of Winter Haven and Penny Lindley (Jim) of Carmi; his grandchildren, Tabitha Hylton (Kevin), Terah Danielle Lindley and Andrew Michael Lindley; his great grandchildren, Mason, Madisen and Mileigh; his niece Beth Reineking (Dan) of Illinois; and his nephew Dale Langston (Laura) of Arizona.
