She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Gidcumb and Gladys Gidcumb (Ward); her husband William Houston Hughes; her son Kevin Hughes; and her brothers, Dwight Gidcumb and James "Toddy" Gidcumb.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Keller (John) of Marietta, GA, Doug Hall (Sylviane) of Houston, TX, David Hughes (Gay) of Carmi, IL, Tina Riley (Steve) of Owensville, IN, Debbie Stevens of Nederland, CO and Bill Hughes of Harrison, AR. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Virginia's memory to Hagee Ministries at P.O. Box 1400, San Antonio, TX. 78295, and will also be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
