It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Emery of Carmi, Illinois, born in Fairfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Large and Mary Beatrice Large (Bain); her husband Jack Edward Emery; her children, Regina Lee Hoos (Don) of Maricopa, AZ, Bethany Murray (Wayne) of Carmi, Jack Emery (Helen) of Carmi, Scott Emery (Wanda) of Galatia and Eddie Emery of Galatia; her sister Eleanor Foley of Evansville, IN; and her grandchildren, Michelle, Patricia, Steffany, David, Jessica, Joshua, Chris, Mathew, Lorena, Christina, Andrew, Scott Allen and Jordan.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Virginia's memory to the Susan G. Koman Foundation or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
