Steve Garrett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Garrett of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Garrett and Mary Eloise Garrett (Savage); and his nephew Dain Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Karlene Garrett of Carmi, IL; his son Adam Garrett (Laura) of Glen Carbon, IL; his grandson Lincoln Garrett; his siblings, Donald Garrett (Dorothy) of Carmi, IL. and Carol Skaggs (Joe) of Norris City, IL; and his friend Connie Simmons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Christian Church or to Brownsville School.
