She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee "Bill" Smith and Matilda Clementine Smith (Quintin); her brother William Joseph "Jack" Smith; her nephews, Steve Dyer and Larry Logan; and her niece Joy Warrick.
She is survived by: her children, Valarie Ann Berekashvili (Giorgi) of Carmi and James Clinton "Clint" Logan of Bowling Green; her sister Vada Ruth Dyer of Tulsa; her nieces, Jacqueline Dunn (James) of Oologah and Kathryn Tinker (Keith) of Sand Springs; and her nephew Randy Warrick (Mona) of Carmi, Illinois..
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Shirley's memory to the Evansville Rescue Mission or We Love White County, and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
