We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2022, at the age of 96, Ruby Ellen Knight of Carmi, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Coleman and Lura Agnes Carter (Jarrett); her son Michael Knight; her grandson Cristan Michael Knight; and her siblings, Donald Eugene, Laverne, Charles Carter and Evelyn McBride.
She is survived by: her husband George Knight of Carmi, IL; and her children, Roger Knight (Linda) of Carmi, IL, Larry Knight (Loretta) of Carmi, IL, Tim Knight (Amanda) of Carmi, IL, Dennis Knight (Kathy) of Cumberland, VA, Janet Boren (Mike) of Carmi, IL and Vickie Anderson (Gary) of Norris City, IL. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to New Beginning Church of God and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements. You may make a donation pledge via our website.
