It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wilson (Carmi, Illinois), born in Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Chester and Julia Fern Wilson (McMurty); his siblings, Darlene Given, Delores Williams, Aldena Peacock and William Wilson; and his pet Punky.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Lee; his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Tracy Haywood of Carmi; his granddaughter Nicole Marie Stroud (Brad) of Pittsburg, IL; and his siblings, Dana Leggett of Carmi, Wayne Wilson (Judy) of Fairfield and Kenneth E. Wilson (Cindy) of Enfield.
Due to the National COVID-19 crisis and mandate on gatherings, services for Robert E. "Bob" Wilson will be private with burial in West Union Cemetery in Carmi.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Bob's memory to Wabash Christian Village Ladies Auxiliary.
