It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert King of Carmi, Illinois, born in Burnt Prairie, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lewis and Flossie Myrtle King (Parson); his wife Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Myers; and his brothers, Jesse Earl and Elvis Ray King.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Heil (Dennis) of Mill Shoals, Mary Ann Fulkerson (Art) of Omaha, Forrest King (Terri) of Carmi and Jeff King (Gina) of Carmi; his grandchildren, Michael King (Liza), Ashley Kosikowski (Jason), Matthew Heil (Kayci) and Amy Hubbard (J. D.); and his brothers-in-law, Robert W. Myers (Pat) of Carmi and John D. Myers (Karen) of Deland, FL.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Carmi White Country School Foundation and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
