She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Norman and Opal Pearl Anselment (Banks); her sons, Anthony Scott Asberry and Brian Derrick Asberry; and her siblings, John Robert Anselment, Steven Wayne Anselment, Donald Ray Anselment, Nancy Lynn McKenzie and Norma Sue Powell.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Asberry (Joni) of Carmi, IL and Shawn Asberry (Jamie) of Norris City, IL; her granddaughter Emily Ellison of Carmi, IL; and her close friend Anthony Thompkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
