He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pollard and Reba Fern Pollard (Stallings); and his siblings, Marshall Pollard, Joyce Martin, Ann Norris, Billy Pollard, Paul Pollard and Jim Pollard.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Pollard of Carmi, IL; his sons, Richard "Richie" Pollard, Jr. (Pamela) of Bloomington, IL. and Raymond Pollard (Arleen) of Carmi, IL; his grandchildren, Brian Pollard, Cristin Henshaw (Luke), Jacob Pollard, Megan Pollard, Cameron Pollard and Rafael Pena; his great grandchildren, Gauge and Wesley; his siblings, Pat Marler of Carmi, IL and Robert Pollard (Sharon) of Carmi, IL; and his sister-in-law Ilene Lettrell (Milas). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (609 W Main St, Carmi, IL 62821). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the Mama T Scholarship Fund, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
