She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard David Attebury and Mary Ethel McDonald; and her siblings, Jimmy, Kenneth McWhirter and Jeannie Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Scott McDonald (Nancy Gowdy) of Carmi, IL., Kandi Stocke (Alan) of Arcadia, CA. and Mark McDonald (Gail) of Carrollton, KY.; her siblings, Deborah Trout (Wes) of Crossville, IL., Melanie Stanelle of Shawneetown, IL. and Leslie "Tinker" McWhirter of Carmi, IL.; and her sister-in-law Debbie McWhirter of Carmi, IL.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions can be made in Davene's memory to the Linda E. White Hospice House, and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
