It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Brown (Carmi, Illinois), born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene D. Kistner and Esther E. Kistner (Milone); her sister Sharon Sams; her father-in-law James Brown; and her sister-in-law Katie Brown.

She is survived by: her husband Stan Brown; her children, Rachel Ackerman (Bryan) and Brodie Brown (Abbie Vanover); her siblings, Ronnie Harkins, Greg Harkins, Kathy Zuber (Justin), Chris Stradling, Debbie Mercer (Rick) and Karen Ritchey (Ken); her brother-in-law Stacey Brown (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Abigail Dillman, Alexa Ackerman and Sean Ackerman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pam's memory to White County Cheer for a Cure or the United Methodist Church in Crossville and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.

“Pam was a wonderful person and a great assistant manager at Marshall’s. Every time I came back home to Evansville from South Carolina I will try to catch her at TJ Maxx and catch up I missed her by one day in November. So I sent her a card and told her I catch her next time. I consider her a friend. You have my deepest sympathy she will be missed. Rebecca”
