He is survived by: his grandson Zach; his wife Mary Overturf of Carmi; his children, Bryan Overturf of Carmi, Russell Bayes (Nicole) of Newburgh, Indiana and Rhonda Ward of Carmi; his son-in-law Mark Ward of Carmi; his siblings, Roy Overturf (Janet) of Murphysboro, George Overturf (Gloria) of Benton, Donnie Overturf (Sue) of Carbondale, Illinois, Ruby Giovanetti of Dupo, Sharon Stritzel of Coello, Illinois and Debra Chapman (Kenny) of Coello, Illinois; his grandchildren, Quinton, McKenzie, Austin, Keaton, William and Kelly; his great grandchildren, Madden, Roman, Sadie and Bryan; and his sister-in-law Judy Merritt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
