It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Norman Fechtig of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 15, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Fechtig and Nell Fechtig (Hutchcraft); his brother C. William Fechtig (Francis Winter); and his sister-in-law Jan Erkman (Rainey). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (Erkman); his sons, Scott (Nancy Dykhoff) and Mark (Teresa Wilford); his grandchildren, Caleb, Caitlin, Nathaniel and Charles; his great grandchild Garth; his brother Allen (Mary Ruth Newlin); and his brother-in-law Ed Erkman. He is also survived by 10 nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Norman's family requests donations be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the White County Historical Society and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
