He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Buchanan and Sharon Buchanan (Woodrow); and his grandparents, Bill, Carol Woodrow, Clarence "Buck" and Donna Buchanan.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly Buchanan of Carmi, IL; his children, Morgan Buchanan, April Sprague (Zachary), Marley Buchanan, Ariana Hatch (Channary), Christopher Buchanan, McKenna Buchanan and Victoria Buchanan; his siblings, Dawn Major (Michael) of Barnhill, IL. and Jacob Buchanan of Fairfield, IL; his parents-in-law, Kay Pretzsch (Ron) and Bill Cross (Sherri); and his grandfather-in-law Bertha Cross. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (609 W Main St, Carmi, IL 62821). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Coins for Cancer and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
