She was predeceased by: her parents, John Patrick Russell and Katie Russell (Todd); her husband Charles L. "Jumbo" Gwaltney; her son Brian Keith Gwaltney; her granddaughter Jennifer Gwaltney; and her siblings, Christina Newman, Ellen Barton, Ruby Barger, Dorothy Jumper and Lester Barton.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Strong of Carmi, Illinois and David A. Gwaltney (Starla) of Eddyville, Kentucky; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Black; her sisters, Betty Martin of Hollywood and Etta Lumb of Enfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Brian Keith Gwaltney (Emily), Luke Titzer (Beth) and Sarah Nicole Strong; and her great grandchildren, Jewel Gwaltney, Jonathan Gwaltney, Dion Gwaltney, Rylie Titzer, Dylan Titzer and A'Riah Gwaltney.
