He is survived by: his wife Lori Simmons of Carmi, IL.; his children, David Simmons of Carmi, IL. and Elizabeth Burch (Mike) of Fairfield, IL.; his stepchildren, Clarissa Howell and Robert Howell III; his grandchildren, Makayla, Hunter and Liam; and his siblings, Sandra Mick of Crossville, IL., Cheryl Stanley of Waverly, TN., Scott Howard (Teresa) of Carmi, IL. and Richard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
