With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Fulkerson of Carmi, Illinois, born in Overland, Missouri, who passed away on January 30, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gleason Vaughan and Mary Ellen Vaughan (Wallace); her husband Allen Fulkerson; her grandson Scott Etienne; her great grandchild Willard B Weber; her son-in-law Willard Robinson; and her brother Arnold Vaughan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Pfister (Mike) of McLeansboro, IL, Linda Bingman (Ernie) of Carmi, IL. and Debra Broyles (Ted) of McLeansboro, IL.; her grandchildren, Katrina Roberson (Dean), Wendy Glenn (Billy), Robert Hutchinson (Destiny) and Nancy Robinson (Aaron Weber); and her siblings, Lloyd Vaughan (Teressa) of Burnt Prairie, IL and Barbara Wagner of Springfield, IL.. She is also survived by six step grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Melba's memory to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
