She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Grover and Alma Gertrude Lowery (Thornton); her spouse Hobart Wesley "Buck" Pyle; her daughters, Paula Krankel (John) of Grayville, Ruth Pyle of Grayville and Angela Talkington (Vernon) of Douglas, GA; her brother Herman Vinson Lowery of Corn, OK; her close friend Karen Evers; her grandchildren, Shelley Miller (David), Benjamin Blazier, Rachel Krug, Adam Krug (Josha), Chris Talkington (Jessica) and Joshua Talkington; and her sister Dorothy Lowery. She was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary Alice's memory to First Baptist Church in Carmi or Hope Outreach Ministries, PO Box 2996, Douglas, GA 31534 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
