She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil C. Mears and Hettie Ruth Mears (Marlin); her husband Lloyd V. Lowery; her great grandchild Mary Kate Hogan; her sister Peggy Jean Fleck; and her son-in-law J. William E. Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Marla Wood of Carmi, IL, Mike Lowery (Anita K.) of Omaha, IL, Max Lowery (Cindy) of Norris City, IL, Matthew Lowery of Augusta, GA and Martin "Buck" Lowery (Anita J.) of Princeton, KY. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mary's memory to Ditney Ridge Baptist Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
