Martha Austin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Austin (Carmi, Illinois), born in Fairfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernard Ray and Ella Jean Combs (Bickell); her sons, Kevin Austin of Carmi and Brian Austin (Stacy) of Mt. Vernon, IN; her grandchildren, Breckan, Brylie (Brennan Austin), Kayla Weaver (Brandon) and Kyle (Kasen Austin); her great grandchildren, Ember Shyne and Cain; her close friend Stan Williams; her grandchildren, Whitney Williams, Alex Jagoe (Alex) and Lindsey Jagoe (Brent Vorst); her great grandchildren, Oliver and Ashley Roberts (Phil); her siblings, Linda Rogers (Darrell) of Vermillion, OH, Jack Combs of Carmi and Warren Combs (Debbie) of Dewitt, IL; her half-sister Brenda Riek of Covington, KY; her stepmother Helen Combs; and also, Shauna Williams of Carmi, Carmen Jagoe of Louisville, KY, Julie Mitchell (Danny) of Wadesville, IN, Keely, Kye, Lindsey Alvey (Chris), Matthew Mitchell (Jessie), Leo, Olive and Alex Mitchell. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Martha's memory to Enfield United Methodists Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
