He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Dean Hoy; and his grandparents, Walter, Juanita Hoy, Roy and Mary Allen.
He is survived by: his mother Maureen Speller (Allen); his stepfather Frank Speller of Carmi, IL; his sister Karen Shorb (Alan) of Carmi, IL; his daughter Brittany Easton of Carmi, IL; his nieces, Morgan James, McKenzie Taylor and Annaleise Shorb; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jenna, Oaklyn, Jacob, Asher and Hendrix.
