Margie Hester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Hester of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2021 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margie Hester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Marvel and Ella Marvel (Bridges); her husband Malcolm Leon Hester; and her daughters, Kathy McGregor and Diana Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Pierce (Heather) of Jasper, IN., Tina Burnett (Dannie) of Crossville, IL., Janet Pierce (Ricky Boaz) of Carmi, IL., Jenny Dunn (Jay) of Carmi, IL. and Kim Brandon (Tyson) of Crossville, IL.; and her sisters, Louise Pierce (Raymond) of Mt. Vernon, IN., Jenny McGrew (Donnie) of Mt. Vernon, IN. and Nancy Ward (Dennis) of Mt. Vernon, IN.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC and IDPH recommendations, social distancing will be observed and masks will required.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Margie's memory to the White County Relay for life and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
