It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madeline Lamp of Carmi, Illinois, born in Burnt Prairie, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Vaupel and Coralee Vaupel (Funkhouser); her husband Robert W. Lamp; and her siblings, Lowell, Lloyd, Floyd, Luther, Elosie Vaupel and Mary Helen Young.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara McArthy (Kevin) of Enfield, Anna York (Brooks) of Carmi, Robert Wayne, Jr. and Marty Lamp (Meredith) of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren, Matthew McArthy (Courtney), Amanda Wehlermann (Brad), Adrian Warren (Trevor), John Lamp (Alaina), Justin Lamp (Mary Carolyn), Jason Lamp, Cal and Laney York; her great grandchildren, Mattie, Macie, Micah McArthy, Rhett, Pierce Wehlermann and Layne Warren; her sister Anna Louise Dennis; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Vaupel of Salem, Kenny Lamp (Judy) of Carmi and James Buttry of Herald. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Madeline's memory to White County Cheering for a Cure and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821 who is assisting the family with arrangements.
